Hi all, I'm a newbie to your site. I spent a lot of time going over past picks and couldn't believe the results. ( 73 profitable trades is more than just luck ) Anyway, I love the site and hope to be around for a long time. I had looked into CIB a short time ago and really liked the write-up by Mr Market. Needless to say, I bought and am hoping this turns into profitable trade #74. I also like the Ernie's homepage which goes into detail on how to screen stocks. It is nice to find a stock picking site where the members are more interested in picking stocks than they are in picking on each other.

Welcome. This site is, in my opinion, one the best sites on the internet.

Just remember ... $$$Mr Market$$$ shares his stock picking methodology and explains his reasons for buying a particular stock. However, don't construe this as $$$Mr Market$$$ giving anyone any investment advice.

So make sure you do your own research on any particular investment, but feel free to share your thoughts with others on the $$$Mr Market$$$ site. We welcome your opinions.

Hey all.... I am a new also.. really learning to hate the bashers and fighing on other sites.

I am just learning how to navigate this site so excuse me if I am posting at the wrong place.

I dont have a handle on buying short so I am a long haul buyer.

Was wondering what all though of Ge and how its been trading lately. I have just sent a little money I had extra this month into ameritrade and looking very closely at cib.

I own GE in my "buy and die" portfolio. The funny thing about it is it is a lot like a little mutual fund, investing in its own businesses. How well their investment decisions are is driven by their "portfolio manager", formerly the adulterer Jack Welch and now Jeff Immelt, who played football at Dartmouth and seems to have taken a few too many blows to the head.


CIB, I think, is great.

Stopped in to night to see just what all I have been missing out on here lately. I just could not help my self and had to post a little something here when I seen the ??????? about GE. My answer would be GTE, not becuse I am in at 0.3615 but becuse they are hireing NASA personal that are in the know. Also I'm one that like the little guys in hopes that they become GIANTS.
