My Grandpa and Great Grandpa were both coal miners from Eastern Kentucky. I might live in Florida, but I have hillbilly roots. My other Grandpa was from Roanoke

2. Have you ever been to Assawoman Island ? Is it worth the trip?

(1) Lexington's about an hour from me.... beautiful area with a lot of big money there.... It's becoming a pretty hot address lately. Some high dollar "7 figure" houses being built right now. I do know some hippy types there, a yankee transplant cabinet maker who lives in a little cabin up a mountain pass. He's a skinny little left wing commie freak, but a pretty good cabinet builder.

(2) Assawoman Island.... That's on the coast. I've never been there but I like the name.lol

(3) Those W.VA traitors were too damned cozy with the Union so we disowned em.... To confuse a "Virginian" with a "West Virginian" is an insult!
Skiracer once mentioned in a private message that I was from West VA and I had to sit him straight right quick.lol.... Lyehopper Hollow is in South Western "Virginia".... NOT freakin WEST VIRGINIA!!!!
