Wow! BoSox's short on Escala Corp. (ESCL) jumped out front big time today! Escala runs an auction house, but there seems to be a recent shortage of bidders!

Alice Cooper sings "Welcome to NII's breakdown," as his short on NII Holdings (NIHD) yields him a healthy enough score to allow him to slither into 2nd place!

Spikefader, who is distant kin to Darth Vader, (Fader is the Anglicized version of the spelling) admonishes us all: "Don't underestimate the power of the broken chart," as his short on Syneron (ELOS) pulled him like the Death Star's tractor beam into third place.

Another whack day with heavy volume in Securityland:

Interestingly, this is the third time the Parlux CEO has said he wanted to take the company private. A previous attempt failed at $4/share because of an inability to finance the deal. Another fishy small-cap story. Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

I assume you meant 9:30. Also, we here at the POTW don't use "trade triggers." If someone wants PARL short after you cover it, it will have to appear in the form of a post after the position becomes available.
