In a related matter my pick, Dryships (DRYS), has just announced a plan to sell all their ships. This is not a joke. It's not clear how the company plans to make money with no ships but whereas they have been losing money with the ships perhaps it will turn out to be an improvement.
Louetta, That's a new twist. The company goes to cash. Why not? It beats losing money each day. Maybe they'll resurface as a tech company.

I don't know about tech. On further reading I see that DRYS is incorporated in the Marshall Islands. I think I would feel better if I knew where the Marshall Islands were.
Louetta, is that why you bought in ORIG today? Seeing that ORIG is majority owned by DRYS and probably the only thing that makes DRYS relevant.
I bought ORIG because they are earning decent money, more than enough to cover their dividend and then some and the price is right and if oil comes back it should help. Best driller I could find but it is a contrarian play. DRYS owns 78,000,000 shares of ORIG which at about $7 a share is worth just over .5 billion. DRYS has $5 billion in debt so their stake in ORIG might provide a ready source of cash and help keep them solvent but if the stock price doesn't improve sometime soon they will get kicked off NASDAQ which won't help the stock price.
Settlement announced, terms not disclosed, but Annmarie Gayle, Group CEO said "This settlement allows the Business to
focus on bringing real value to its shareholders and stakeholders"
up 28% on the news and hopefully CDOC will start getting some respect! (4:00 pm update, closed up 57% on the day.)

Congrats to Phoenix as AVEO continues to run!
Awesome, that brings you back from negative to a top 3 rank! (and me back to near even on my CDOC position... sweet!)
People in this forum probably own 90% of CDOC shares.
LOL, based on average volumes it sure feels that way, but there are about 94 million shares out.
Maybe we have enough to get a seat on the Board and name the next huge product ERNIE or something....
