Which begs the question: did I pick the wrong time to get a new appraisal of my heavily gold jewelry for insurance purposes? Knew I had to do it, but is it timely? Maybe get gouged on premiums for the near future? Talking 18-22 carat heavy far east and Israeli stuff here.
