I’m always saying that the deciding to hold a stock is the same as deciding to buy it. Reviewing my charts asking the question; if I didn’t already own this stock would I buy it today?; I’ve decided to cull a few from my portfolio.
Culled;
SODA @ break even $38.28
LF @ $11.06: Gain of 3.75% or 0.15% of capital
DLR @ 75.64: Gain of 1.8% or0.34% of capital.
Had held these stocks for 4 weeks and they were going the wrong way.
Any Swing traders out there with a guideline on how long to hold a stock that's moving between the target and the stop?
It is hard to find the Truth when you start your search with a preconceived notion of what the Truth will be.
