I was in Maryland this weekend and while at some hole in the wall country store was given a 1943 steel penny, very close to pristine and in mint uncirculated condition, but not copper. I think someone robbed their fathers collection and somehow spent this penny. Anyway I was given it for change inadvertently and was wondering what it is worth. Close to uncirculated mint condition. Definitely steel. I put a magnet on it and it stuck right to it. Could it be worth anything?

Worth keeping but unfortunately only worth maybe a dollar. I only found 1 after looking through about 500,000 cents. Lots of people stashed them away and many are for sale on e-bay at all times.
