Nope..."The holiday, which celebrates the birth of Queen Victoria on May 24, 1819, has long been known colloquially as the "May Two-Four" weekend. It was declared a holiday in 1845, but officially named Victoria Day in 1901, the year she died. " (Right around the time I was born. LOL)

Well, I'm going to celebrate on the 24th no matter what day of the month it falls on. Victoria Day is celebrated, by a federal ruling in 1952, on the Monday preceding May 25. Since May 25 is in fact a Monday this year, the holiday weekend is the one before.
