Great! I would like that. I could use a little helping with my charting.
I meant I wouldn’t buy it now....not sure when you bought it.
GEHL:
#1. Trending sideways on below average volume.
#2. MACD was bullish but pretty flat at the moment; only slight
hook up in DMI
#3 20 MA is flat lining and multiple closes under it.
#4 1/16/06 downgrade by Reuters
#5 Short interest a little high for me
For me to buy I would need:
#1 Increase in volume and
#2 Rising 20 MA w/ closes staying above
#3 I may even wait on a test of $34.52 high
I didn't really get into the FA side.
Constructive criticism welcome. Did I pass or fail?
Shadow
Not too bad Shadow.... GEHL is not strictly a technical play for me. I like the Fundamentals very much. Here is a weekly chart I marked up just to present a different TA angle. I have found that 5 different TA folks can give you five different opinions of a chart. I do like to study weekly charts personally though.... I think "Spikefader" and "Runner" would advise you NOT to overlook weekly chart trends too.
I'm not one to beat a dead horse, but I'll do it anyway. Somehow I'm able to access their forums, but nothing else. Maybe a glitch in the login system.
A poster wondered how they got their figures for an advertising claim of 640% gain in one year. I answered that they were known for outrageous claims they wouldn't or couldn't back up with facts. These claims are for gains in the market overall and also their "New America" index and the "IBD 100" and others. I told the poster that IBD would never give a straight answer to a specific question and challenged any other poster to prove the purported gains. So far the only statements have been that their claims really haven't been as high as let on. No factual information. They can't hold a candle to Mr.Market.

While I was still an IBD subscriber, I noted on the forums an almost paranoid obsession that Lyehopper, then Websman, then a host of others were really Mr Market in disguise posting after he was banned.
Should we now be concerned that you might really be WON in disguise posting on this forum?

Gator,
I really am Wm. J just like WON , now that you point that out I'm suspicious of myself. Nobody ever accused me of being Mr.Market over there although I'd take it as a compliment.

Paranoia can be a very dangerous affliction: especially for a sleepwalker!
