Gap open higher and just about reaching the recent highs. It's also breaking abpve the 61.8% retracement level, using the 2005 high and 2006 low as the end points.

There is lots of trading desk chatter that Iran has been dumping its US Treasury Bond position starting earlier in the week and has been a large buyer of gold.

There was news on Wednesday that they're starting a cancer trial. This is for an orphan drug that is being fast-tracked by the FDA for approval.
